Elfin Berwick

ABOUT

Elfin is a registered psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults who have experienced childhood trauma and difficult early relationships with their caregivers. She has worked in research settings, education settings and private clinics.

Elfin is passionate about supporting people to heal from the consequences of trauma and difficult early relationships. She is strongly committed to deeply listening to you as an individual and working in a collaborative, empathic way to support people with:

THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES

Elfin draws upon multiple evidence based trauma informed therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Schema therapy, Psychodynamic approaches and Attachment based approaches. The initial focus will be on building a strong therapeutic working relationship and developing insight. We will then draw upon our insights to find an approach that best fits with your needs and your strengths to support your healing.
