Psychologist North Melbourne

Cova Psychology North Melbourne
Now Open!

Cova Psychology has just opened a new clinic in North Melbourne.

For almost eight years, our team has supported adults, couples, and families from Melbourne’s CBD and nearby suburbs. As our practice continues to grow, we remain committed to making therapy more accessible.

Our new North Melbourne clinic will create more space for people seeking high quality, thoughtful, and evidence based care.

Why North Melbourne?

We wanted to remain close to our Melbourne CBD clinic while creating more space to support the growing number of people reaching out for help. North Melbourne offers the perfect balance.

A Space Designed for Therapy

Our North Melbourne rooms are being designed from the ground up to feel calm, private, warm, and welcoming. Therapy often involves discussing sensitive and deeply personal experiences. For this reason, the physical environment plays an important role in helping clients feel safe and supported.

We are creating rooms that feel comfortable and grounded. They will be thoughtfully styled and similar in atmosphere to our current Melbourne therapy rooms. In addition, each space will support meaningful connection between client and therapist. You can expect the same standard of care that we provide at our Melbourne CBD clinic, only a short distance away.

Growing to Support More People

We receive more enquiries than our Melbourne CBD clinic can currently manage. Although we feel grateful for the trust people place in our team, we also understand how much courage it takes to reach out. It is difficult to tell someone we cannot support them when they are finally ready for therapy.

For this reason, opening in North Melbourne allows us to welcome more clients and reduce waiting times. It also ensures we can continue offering the level of care we believe everyone deserves. If you are preparing for therapy or thinking about starting soon, our guide on top tips for making therapy work may be a helpful starting point.

In Person or Online

Clients are welcome to attend sessions in person or choose online therapy via telehealth. Our team includes psychologists and clinical psychologists who support a wide range of mental health needs. These include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, identity questions, stress, and emotional regulation difficulties.

We work from a trauma informed framework. We are committed to creating a space that feels respectful, curious, and safe for every person who walks through the door. Cova Psychology is a neurodiverse inclusive and neurodiversity affirming practice.

We are passionate about supporting ADHD and autistic folk. Additionally, we value working in ways that honour each person’s strengths, communication style, and lived experience.
