“The decision to engage in therapy is a brave and commendable one, and for those who allow me to join them in that journey, I endeavour to make it a safe, fun, and nurturing process of reflection and exploration.”

I’m a New Zealand-trained psychologist, now practicing in Australia and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). I have experience across care and protection, youth justice, and private practice settings, with a focus on the impacts of interpersonal trauma, including sexual, physical, and emotional abuse and neglect. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and can provide support in areas such as:

  • Depression and other Mood issues
  • Anxiety and related disorders
  • Adjustment and Life transitions
  • Trauma, Stress-related disorders; PTSD, and Complex Trauma
  • Dissociation
  • Autism and ADHD support with a neurodiversity-affirming approach
  • Phobias
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Sleeping difficulties
  • Parenting challenges
  • Relationship and Interpersonal issues
  • Emotional regulation difficulties
  • Support with sexuality and gender diversity

I take a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to therapy, believing that what we often call “symptoms” can actually be seen as protective mechanisms our minds and bodies develop to cope with life’s challenges. That’s why I like to begin therapy by helping you understand how your emotional experiences make sense in light of your background and current circumstances. Together, we can work toward meaningful and positive change, rooted in self-understanding, self-compassion, and empowerment.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching movies, and exploring Melbourne.
