I am a psychologist with extensive experience working in private practice, community mental health and private hospital settings. I focus on practicing therapy using a collaborative approach, to support clients achieve their goals in therapy and improve their overall psychological wellbeing. I believe that it takes incredible resilience and courage to ask for help when feeling stuck and overwhelmed, and that the act of reaching out is admirable.
Key areas of interest include:
I am a curious, open minded and a non-judgemental person, who strongly values person-centred, as well as culturally sensitive approaches to therapy. My clients can sense my authenticity when dealing with me and my strong investment in working together to help them achieve their goals in therapy. While I am trained in a number of therapeutic modalities, my therapeutic approach can be best described as eclectic based on what the individual’s needs are, and what is best supported by the research. I will walk alongside you, supporting you to develop new insights, learn new skills and identify inner strengths to help you along your journey of healing and recovery.
I am also a board approved supervisor and enjoy working with Melbourne psychologists to support their ongoing growth and professional development.
